PicSecret database is unique

PicSecret is an advanced application with it's own local database into your iphone.

All Photos/Videos you register into this app are only available into this app. ( as far as you paid attention to delete them from other storage location ( see note 1)

Nothing on server ,cloud or any other storage location. 

No data are sent out of your iphone expect if you decide to share a photo by email, sms  for instance.

Hence you decide if you want to share those data.

I cannot access to your database either therefore do not forget your password as I cannot help on recovering it.

The password function is highly secured and is the essence of picsecret/plus.
Enabling people to reset it without knowing the original one , even with a hidden method, would open the door for people who pickup your iphone to access picsecret content, thus picsecret would not be secret anymore.
For instance, a boyfriend/girlfriend could get to know how to reset the password thus could reset the picsecret password of her boyfriend/girlfriend to access private photos, etc..

There are no way to check that people who would use this reset function would be the real iphone owner therefore I did not implement such password recovery function to ensure that nobody apart of the one who knows the password can access to the content of this app.

Note 1:

Developers cannot access to users camera roll for deleting those photos after importing into another app, therefore delete the photos/videos from the iphone camera roll after importing them into PicSecret.

Then you 'll be sure that those data are only present into PicSecret database.

Do not forget to delete them from the photostream if you have enabled it on your iphone.

How to update folder's name and/or picture?

From the folder page, tap on the arrow in the blue circle to get into the folder's content.

Tap on the folder icon, located at the top center of the screen to get into the folder edit page.

Change the folder' names and/or picture  then click on the button on the top left to come back to the previous screen.

Your folder's name and/or picture will be updated automatically.

PicSecretPlus - Videos support coming soon...

PicSecretPlus is going to follow her sister with the support of videos added into the version 2.1. 
Be patient for a couple of weeks.

How to delete photos from PicSecret

Here is the process to delete photos from PicSecret folders:

  

Delete photos process

        

• From the folder page, tap on the arrow in the blue circle to get into the folder's content.
• Then tap on the right arrow located at the bottom right of the screen to display the buttons' menu.
• Tap on the minus sign to display the delete sign on each cell.
• Tap on delete sign into the target cell and confirm by tapping on the delete button.
• Then tap on minus sign from the bottom menu to save the changes.

How to send a photo via MMs from PicSecret/PicSecretPlus?

• From the folder page, tap on the arrow in the blue circle to get into the folder's content.
• Then tap on the arrow located at the bottom right of the screen.
• Tap on the curved arrow to display sub menu.
• Select the picture you wish to send via mms by tapping on the selection icon of the photo.
• Finally tap on the Copy&mms icon on the left side menu bar to export the selected photo to the desired location. 

The selected photo could be backed up to the iphone camera roll as well by using the same process but tap on the button named " Save to Album".

In this case the photo is copied to the camera roll therefore one copy remains into PicSecret.

How to secure your existing photos into PicSecret?

Developers cannot delete photos from your camera roll of users , therefore users must delete them after imported into PicSecret.

• Open Picsecret and import your photos
• Checked that the photos have been imported into the PicSecret database.
• Open the iphone photos library/camera roll and delete the photos which have been copied into PicSecret.

Later on , you could export your photos back to the iphone camera roll by using the dedicated feature available into PicSecret.

How to export photos from PicSecret/PicSecretPlus

PicSecret users could send photos out using the in-app email, sms ,back to camera roll function.

• From the folder page, tap on the arrow in the blue circle to get into the folder's content.
• Then tap on the arrow located at the bottom right of the screen.
• Tap on the curved arrow to display sub menu.
• Select the pictures you wish to export via email or other functions by tapping on the selection icon in each cell.
• Finally tap on the target icon on the left side menu bar to export the selected photos.

PicSecret - How to save pictures from the web

The version 1.3 enables to save pictures from the web directly into the PicSecret database.
